Tickets for the upcoming League Development Draw are still on sale and selling well. Tickets are priced at €20 each or 3 tickets for €50. The prizes on offer are fantastic as there are two chances of winning a brand new car and a further 28 chances of winning €250. This is a great opportunity for our club to create revenue and to put the money we receive to good use such as paying off our debt or making repairs etc. If you are interested in buying a ticket then please get in contact with Liam Kenny or Patsy O’Mahony as they are in charge of the selling of tickets this year.

There are also other club members selling tickets around the village and a number of these will be out and about in the village and surrounding areas over the coming weeks so if you haven’t already purchased a ticket, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to do so. And as always we sincerely appreciate your continued support.

Membership fees for the coming year are now due and the prices will be the same as last year. Membership fees can be paid to any club officer and new members are of course always welcome. The fees are as follows: Players: €50; Adults: €35; Students: €20; OAP’S and Under 18s: €10. All fees must be collected ASAP, preferably this coming week, by anyone who hasn’t already paid.

Wednesday February 27th - D2FL R3: Kilworth 0-6 Glanworth 3-10. Sunday March 3rd – MAFL R4: Kilworth 2-9 Pobal Na Chaoimh 3-17.

The club are currently in the process of creating a new official Kilworth GAA website. This website will keep people up to date all the latest news, fixtures and results along more exciting developments. It will be a great way to keep everyone informed of all the latest action of the club as it will be updated on a regular basis. It’ll also be a great facility for those from Kilworth who are now living and working abroad who wish to find out what’s going on here at home.

Further information about this website will follow in the coming weeks.

On behalf of the club we would like to sincerely congratulate Kieran Lane who was part of the UCC side who recently won The Fitzgibbon Cup. We would also like to congratulate Nathan Byrne, Liam Whelan and Will Condon who also won a Junior All-Ireland with UCC recently. Well done again to each of you.

The club would also like to express votes of sympathy to the Roche family Kilworth, and the Jackson and Barry families Kilworth and England following their recent bereavements.
