The Avondhu Press Newspaper was established in 1978 and covers the areas of North East Cork, West Waterford, South Limerick and South Tipperary. LIVINGHEALTH CLINIC OFFICIALLY OPENED IN MITCHELSTOWN

Foreign Affairs Minister Micheal Martin TD officially opened the new Livinghealth Clinic in Mitchelstown last Friday. The minister toured the new ˆ10million 30,000sq.ft. state-of-the-art facility which now houses all of Mitchelstown’s GPs under one roof.

Mayor of Fermoy Cllr Tadhg O’Donovan said the vulnerability of the community in Fermoy was again evident last Friday, January 30 when the victims of previous floods in the town were left helpless as rising waters threatened to burst the Blackwater's banks for a number of hours.

GREENS TO HOLD FERMOY MEETING ON LOCAL ECONOMY

Department of Defence confirm Fermoy Showgrounds plan
