4HOME WORKERS OPT FOR PICKET ACTION

It seems like the battle lines have been drawn as the MANDATE trade union this week serves notice of industrial action on 4Home SuperStores. The union says the workers involved in the dispute will now picket the company on Tuesday next, September 1.

FERMOY TO LOSE COURT SERVICE STAFF

Staff at Fermoy’s District Court office are to be relocated to Mallow from mid-September. The Court Service has this week confirmed the long-proposed plans would come into play within the month. The process will be mirrored by similar redeployments at District Court offices across the country.
